The (NEWEST) View from the Kitchen Window

Can you BELIEVE this SNOW!!!!!

Okay, so this is actually a photo from yesterday when Lily woke up and said,
"Mom, the chairs sunk!" :o)
and Grampa came in from setting up the generator, feeding the birds, checking the lane, etc to show that he had walked, at some points, through hip deep snow.
We measured Lily today: 3 feet 4 inches -- right about the snow drift levels!

Glad to know there is a generator on the farm to keep you "in the light". --Had to walk through the snow up my drive. Then into the garage to find I'd dropped my keys--fortunately they were only about 20 giant steps away. Then I fell trying to turn around--Glad it's dark and no one was awake to see my struggle getting up. As I think about it I must have looked like the bald guy who the indians buried in that movie--only my head above the snow line. Stay warm, I love you guys.

I know! Can you believe it? We got 35 inches here, and poor Joel had to do most of the shovelling himself. I am getting too big to help out much. And they are calling for another 10 inches tomorrow! I am SO over winter! Stupid groundhog!! :) Stay warm!

Wow! I thought we were having a cold winter. I think we've gotten 6 inches all winter. Might be a record here. I'll send warm thoughts your way!
